Telangana High Court granted interim bail for four weeks to actor Allu Arjun, who was arrested earlier in the day (December 13, 2024) by Chikadpally police in a case of woman’s death in stampede at Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad on December 4, 2024. Two others who were arrested by police in this case were also granted bail.
Actor Allu Arjun detained in Hyderabad stampede case
Actor Allu Arjun has been detained by Chikadpally police of Hyderabad on Friday (December 13, 2024) morning in connection with the stampede at Sandhya Theatre at the premiere of Pushpa-2 which that claimed a life.

Justice Juvvadi Sridevi of Telangana High Court, who heard the interim bail petition application during the post-lunch session, directed the actor to furnish a personal bond of ₹50,000.
The judge directed the actor to cooperate with the investigation in the case. By the time this order was pronounced by the judge, the actor was presented before a magistrate who remanded him in judicial custody for 14 days.
A few hours after actor Allu Arjun was detained by Chikadpally police on Friday (December 13, 2024), Magudampalli Bhaskar, the husband of Revathi — the woman who died in the stampede at Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad during the premiere screening of Pushpa 2 — issued a statement that he is ready to withdraw the complaint lodged with the police. Mr. Bhaskar has also demanded the actor to be released.
